Recycling Sewage Sludge to Land

A comprehensive review of UK practices in recycling sewage sludge to agricultural land. Includes an extensive review of scientific literature on the chemistry of phytotoxic metals and metalloids in soils, their uptake by plants and the biochemical and health effects of metals in foodcrops. Although written in the late 1970s the fundamental science remains unchanged.
